A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

My mother is still doing well. I expected complete bed rest when I heard hospice. She is up and about, but not as much as before. Garrett and I wanted to bring her grandson, Kurtis, for a visit while she could still enjoy him. Not to mention we were a bit homesick for the pacific northwest. So we booked the flights and had one spend as much time with my mom, and family, as possible! (Corey, we missed you!!)
While we were there we had some last minute family pictures done at home by Chantel. ( They turned out so beautiful!

  1. Wow - the pictures are absolutely stunning. Brought a tear to my eye. Your family is beautiful inside and out. Kurtis is getting so big. I'm sure he loved his Grandma time - looks like your mom liked it, too. Great to see your pretty smile, Dawna! I was talking to Alicia today and asked how you were. We think of you often. Thanks for posting, Valerie. We're glad you all had a wonderful family visit!

  2. Dawna, you look as beautiful as ever! I hope you feel as good as you look. And Kurtis is soooo cute! Enjoy your family. I love you! Bill sends his love, too.

    1. Are you my sister missionary (from the RootsMagic group)?

  3. Thanks for the update, Valerie. The pictures are so lovely. And I like the new hair, Dawna... Kurtis is adorable.

  4. These are absolutely beautiful!! I love them all so much! What a great gift! Love you guys!

  5. I'm so glad it worked out! The pictures are amazing!
